Alternate Haku - At the character selection screen, highlight Haku and press X for him not to have a mask.
Alternate Haku costume - At the character selection screen, highlight Haku and press Z.
Alternate Ino - At the character selection screen, highlight Ino and press X for her to have long hair.
Alternate Ino costume - At the character selection screen, highlight Ino and press Z.
Alternate Sakura - At the character selection screen, highlight Sakura and press X for her to have long hair.
Alternate Sakura costume - At the character selection screen, highlight Sakura and press Z.
Alternate Sasuke - At the character selection screen, highlight Sasuke and press X for his original version.
Alternate Sasuke costume - At the character selection screen, highlight Sasuke and press Z.
Defeating Rock Lee - Play as Juraiya. After Rock Lee unlocks both of his gates and attempts to use his special, use Back and A (B + A) to use his needle guardian technique to catch Rock Lee. This uses up Chakra as long as you have the needles out. However, the longer you hold it, the more damage you will do because Lee will be caught in Juraiya's hair. This requires some practice to master, but is a very effective method to finish off Lee, as when he is in his last gate he slowly loses health.
Easy combo with Mission 22 - In Mission 22, for Jounin level you must do a 6-hit combo, then hit him with a Rasengan. This is more difficult than it seems. An easy way to do this is to do a B(7) type combo. This requires some practice. First, see how much life a B(7) combo takes away from Orochimaru. Once you know how the amount, make your life turn red, do the combo, and press X at the end. Note: You must know how much this combo takes away and get Orochimaru about that far away. By doing this, you finish him off on the floor, but Naruto will not actually do the Rasengan.
Extra damage with Sarutobi - Throw your opponent into the air and use his Down + X fire special just before they hit the floor for full unguarded damage. Note: Make sure they do not have enough Chakra to use Kiwami.
Extra hits with Rock Lee - Rock Lee does his extra hits on Gaara, just like in the anime, both when no gates are open and when one gate is open.
Extra money - Have a saved game file from Naruto Gekito Ninja Taisen! 2 on your memory card to begin with an extra 20,000. Have a saved game file from Naruto Gekito Ninja Taisen! on your memory card to begin with an extra 10,000.
Shadow mode - Unlock all other game modes and unlock Mizuki to unlock Shadow mode.
Two Player Survival mode - Successfully complete Mission 24, get fifteen wins in Survival mode, and unlock Mizuki to unlock Two Player Survival mode.
Watch mode - Successfully complete Mission 24, record the top score in Time Attack mode, and unlock Gai to unlock Watch mode.
